About Institut Darul Ridzuan (IDR)
Institut Darul Ridzuan (IDR) is the think tank for the Perak state government, dedicated to driving impactful policies and strategic initiatives. We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Executive, Centre of Excellence Minerals Research to join us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of IDR led projects and initiatives.
- Coordinate research, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement to support evidence-based policy recommendations.
- Prepare project reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage and track project deliverables, timelines, and outcomes against key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support interdepartmental collaboration and communication for project alignment.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and reporting standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to project governance and impact measurement.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration or a related field. A Master’s degree will be considered an added advantage.
- Experience: 1-3 years in project management.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
- Project planning, coordination, and reporting proficiency.
- High level of digital literacy and comfort with productivity and project management tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Personnel with a mineral research background preferred
